Recipe: Bang Bang Cauliflower

This is a favorite side dish in our house, and a more tasty and fibery alternative to french fries. 


  • 4 cups cauliflower florets
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 scallion (thinly sliced)
  • For the Sauce:
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt

  • Set oven to 425 F. Mix eggs, salt and pepper, a Tablespoon of water to make the eggs stick better.

  • Dip cauliflower in eggs and then in panko, toss to coat. Put onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. 

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Make dipping sauce by whisking together all ingredients while cauliflower bakes.
